Public Information Session - Sewage System Maintenance Inspection Program - Phase II Inspections
Public Information Session:
Sewage System Maintenance Inspection Program – Phase II Inspections
The Township of Muskoka Lakes Building Department will hold a Public Information Session on May 21st, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to provide information about the upcoming Phase II Sewage System Maintenance Inspections scheduled to occur this summer in the north-east area of the municipality.
An initial letter was mailed in February, advising affected property owners about the upcoming sewage system inspections. This information session is for those who received a letter this year. The Township will be hosting information sessions each spring for those impacted that year.
The information session will begin with a presentation that will provide additional information about the program, including the purpose and process of the program, how to prepare for the inspection, what to expect during the inspection, and the documentation that will be provided following the inspection.
The session will be held as a hybrid meeting and guests may attend virtually via zoom or in person at the Municipal Office at 1 Bailey Street in Port Carling. The details to attend the event online can be found below. A recording of the session will be made available following the event. Capacity within Council Chambers is limited, and attendees will be admitted on a first-come basis.
