COVID-19 Update

To keep the community & staff safe as per the laws of the Government of Ontario, as of December 26, 2020 until further notice, the Muskoka Lakes Public Libraries will be offering only “No Contact”, outside services. 

Outside Pick Up

You can pre-order items by placing holds through the library catalogue. Staff will phone or email, usually within 24 hours, to let you know when your items are ready for pickup outside.  Returned items will be placed in quarantine, and remain on your account, for 72 hours before being returned to the shelves or circulated to other library users. We will remove all fines accrued during the 72 hour quarantine period. The book drops are open 24/7 for your returns and are located at the back of the Port Carling branch to the left of the lower entrance door as well as at upper level, side entrance door. The Bala book drop is outside the entrance door.
